1. Employee’s Responsibilities
• The QA Engineer shall perform a key role within Projects group;
• The primary role is to ensure all project works are carried out in accordance with the project specifications, national and international standards, drawings and procedures;
• Implementation of engineering design job packs, compilation and preparation for handover to commissioning;
• Coordination of all QA activities e.g. Inspection and NDE, PWHT, piping pressure tests, final inspection and punch listing activities;
• Compile and maintain the Job Packs, ensuring that all the required reports/certification is progressively generated and captured;
• Maintain comprehensive records of all as-built drawings, test certification and pre-commissioning procedures;
• Review and endorse as-build documentation for compliance with project specifications
• Provide technical input to ensure technical completeness and integrity of constructed facilities;
• Participate in Asset HSE Programmes (STOP/Audit/Incident Review);
• Capture and report project quality performance and where necessary make recommendations for areas of improvement;
• Co-ordinate the timely close-out of audit action items (levels 2 & 3) if required;
• Develop the capabilities of local Russian staff and contractors;
• The position provides a great deal of scope for the incumbent to use initiative, expertise and energy to support the project. The incumbent must be able to work both independently as well as a virtual member of the project team;
• Working in a multi-cultural environment;
• Major brown-field offshore construction environment, concurrent with Production operations.

• Develop Inspection and Test Plans (ITP’s) as required;
• Review Contractor ITP’s for compliance;
• Develop QC check sheets as required;
• Review Contractor QA check sheets for compliance;
• Perform inspections according ITP’s
• Organise participation of other discipline specialists in inspections of special work in accordance with the approved ITP as required;
• Perform Vendor shop inspections
• Participate in audits and reviews as indicated in the Assurance Plans
• Provide QA advice and input detail design and installation engineering;
• Support facility readiness for start-up by timely review of documentation of their results (issuing a punch list)
• Witness acceptance tests of systems and equipment as directed, and endorse as required
2. Professional Skills and Competences:
• regulations, rulings, orders and other instructive, methodological and regulatory legislative documents relating to the production activities;
• technology of the performed works, business systems and their applications;
• all the aspects of mechanical equipment engineering support at offshore facilities;
• knowledge of the Russian industrial occupational safety requirements (Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision);
• knowledge of the quality assurance standard (ISO 9001-2008 or latest edition), knowledge of quality control application fields, practices and methods;
• knowledge of Russian (and international) standards;
• knowledge of technical aspects of non-destructive testing;
• special education and skills in the field of inspection practices and methods;
• work completion management software (e.g. Thule);
• knowledge of the Russian industrial requirements (Federal Committee for Mining and Industrial Supervision (GGTN)), certification by GGTN;
• fluent written/spoken English.
Education
• Higher technical education or
• Higher education and additional training in Quality Systems and Control.
The minimal previous work experience under the speciality shall be 8 years.
