Position Contracts Engineer (Reports to Project Contracts Leader and Project Control Manager)

The following main functions are imposed on HVAC and Building installation:
Engineering Phase • Review and digest the Basis and details of Design of HVAC systems (aerothermal systems) for buildings located in extreme cold conditions (-46°C) • Coordinate and supervise HVAC and Buildings for Central Process Facilities, associated drilling Pads • Check that the design is developed in line with the Project Specifications, local standards and the Statement of Requirements • Review , comment and approve of Contractor detailed engineering documents • Ensure coordination of HVAC, Mechanical & Piping activities as well as Buildings fabrication with the other Specialists within the project team. Ensure global consistency of the design • Verify the deliverables to be produced by the Contractor(s) related to HVAC, (Mechanical, Piping, E&I) and Buildings • Prepare the HVAC requisition, check, comment and approve purchase order • Ensure and participate with HVAC CTR/Vendors meeting • Participate and approve the various Factory acceptance tests ( FAT)
Construction and Installation phase • Define, mobilize and manage an organization will cover all HVAC and Building activities on site in particular the HVAC rooms, and electrical sub-stations. • Follow up, review, comment on all documentations produced by contractors • Plan, manage, control and deliver the overall HVAC and building works at Central Process Facilities and remote pads • Manage technical interfaces related to HVAC and Building between EPCC Contracts • Liaise with Operations to develop and implement projects in line with current Operation and Maintenance philosophy • Supervise the erection of the buildings, the installation of HVAC equipment • Manage the pre-commissioning of HVAC Systems and completion of buildings in liaise with the other disciplines • Assist and participate at the Commissioning and Start-up phases
Requirements:
- Education/ Work experience both in Engineering and Construction: high professional education (technical) with work experience not less than 8 years as HVAC/Building specialist - To know Oil and Gas processing facilities construction and operations, in particular piping, structural, storage tanks and buildings. - Good technical background.
