Recruiting agency IOTA Vostok is currently looking for experienced professionals for the position of SAFETY OFFICER in a large oil & gas company. Key functions:
• Daily inspections at site to identify and correct non-compliance with safe labour practices
• Ensuring that all hazardous work is carried out on a permit to work basis
• Ensuring implementation of site safety standards and procedures
• Risk assessment
• Safety audits on site
• Incident investigations
• Preparing reports and summaries of observations, and underlying causes, as well as corrective actions Requirements:
• Certified HSE specialist
• At least 5 years in oil & gas industry as a Safety Officer
• Experience in large international oil & gas projects
• Knowledge of Emergency Response Procedures, PTW system and other safety requirements and regulations
• Ability to monitor compliance and prepare reports in English language
• Good command of English (both verbal and written)
• Good health and ability to work on rotational basis in harsh climate
