Main responsibilities
To review and approve the specification, design and supply (by contractors) of instrumentation and control systems in onshore/offshore production facilities, ensuring that it meets project objectives, industry standards and best practice for safety, reliability and cost.
Selection of the best technical/economical solutions and products for instrumentation and automation systems.
Instrumentation and automation systems overall design integrity and compliance with international standards, company guidelines and engineering best practices
Instrumentation and automation and control systems concept design and/or detailed engineering design
Preparation of ITT documentation and bid technical review for instrumentation and automation
Review of contractors instrumentation and automation and control systems design
Technical instrumentation and automation support to commissioning an production start-up
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Engineering degree (preferably Electronic engineering) or Technical Diploma
Languages – Good in spoken and written English
Required Experience
7 years of Oil & Gas Industry experience
5 years of instrumentation and automation experience
IT Hardware Architecture (Generic)
Specialist Knowledge: Engineering knowledge in the specialist activity
Organisation Processes: Company / Corporate organization, Internal Standard, Feed-back development and diffusion, Site Management
Supports and technologies: Technical requirement and Standard
Compliance: Local/National and International Standard and Codes, Tender procedure
Plant Design: Electric.& Instrum.& Telecom Design
Construction & Installation: Plant construction, Control system knowledge, Inspection, control and testing techniques
Production System Design : Life cycle design
Process Engineering: Oil and Gas process treatment, Process optimization/simulation SW-program
Project Management: Risk Management
