Major contractor in the Middle East is planning to hire 9 Electrical Commissioning engineers for the project in Abu Dhabi
Job Requirements:
A. Testing and Commissioning of the followings including testing of protection schemes:
Gas Turbine generators (305MVA), Steam Turbine Generators (407MVA) and Black start Diesel Generators including protection, control, synchronization and metering systems, Short circuit test on Generators and Transformers, AVR & Excitation systems, Bus ducts - Isolated Phase & Non-segregated type, SF6 Generator circuit breakers & VCB's, 220KV Disconnectors and earthing switches, Power Transformers up to 500MVA Oil filled & Dry type, Transformers, MV & LV Switchgears including Auto Transfer and momentary paralleling, Current & Voltage Transformers, MV & LV AC Motors, DC Link & AC Line reactors, Medium voltage Cables (HIPOT test), UPS & 125V DC system battery & chargers including load test on charger an Battery banks, DCS interface for alarms and loop testing B. To be familiar with software and testing of following protection relays and metering systems (220KV,11KV,7.2KV)

Primary injection kits (OMICRON CPC 100), Secondary injection kits (OMICRON CMC 256/356), CT Analyzer (OMICRON), Tan delta kit, High Voltage Kit - AC & DC (PHENIX/MEGGER/BAUR), Oscilloscopes, Other conventional test equipments Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in the above system. Gulf Experience preferable. Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering OR Equivalent Total salary: 5,500 – 6,500 USD per month (Accommodation, and food – candidates will pay for the food for accommodation form their total salary.)
- DIRECT HIRE (permanent position).
- Location: Abu Dhabi
- Leave & Air Ticket: 30 days paid leave every 12 months of working. A 15 days every 6 months rotation might be considered (you will pay your flight ticket).
- Work Timings / Bonuses: Company generally works 10 hours per day. Staff are not paid overtime but are eligible for annual Bonus of 2 or 3 x monthly salary
