Responsibilities:
• Participate, as part of the Project Quality Management System (QMS), in the
development of control documentation for procurement (e.g., procedures and
guidelines)
• Participate in development of key documentation for procurement (e.g. Project
Specifications, Technical Requisitions) to verify the compliance of quality requirements
with project standards
• Participate in the assessment of Tenderers’ Offers to assess compliance with established
quality requirements
• Coordinate the quality activities undertaken for the Vendor Qualification program.
• Review critical documentation produced by Vendors (e.g., Inspection and Test Plans),
and advise on “fitness for purpose”
• Develop the program for quality surveillance at Vendors’ Works and coordinate its
implementation
• Provide guidance to QA-QC Services Agencies for implementation of surveillance
activities at Vendors’ Works
• Develop and maintain a Data Base for quality surveillance program and report
accordingly.
• Evaluate, select and obtain the Company approval for surveillance personnel supplied by
QA-QC Services Agencies
• Attend key Vendor meetings (e.g., Kick Off, Pre-Inspection, as and when required) and
organize the support of QA-QC Services Agencies for special tests (e.g., FATs) at
Vendors’ Works
• Interface on quality matters with those responsible for technically supporting the
Vendors’ scope of supply (i.e., Discipline Engineers, Specialists)
• Maintain the QA-QC Manager abreast of quality matters related to the procurement
program.
• Has the responsibility for implementation of Quality Assurance and Quality Control within
procurement related activities and processes.
• Primary objective is to ensure that all quality activities during procurement are conducted in
manner compliant with Total Group rules and project requirements Requirements:
- Basic Education: Graduate engineer with in-depth knowledge of quality management for
medium/large procurement programs.
- Basic Trade Qualifications: 1) Welding: Senior Welding Inspector-CSWIP 3.2; 2) NDT: ASNT Level
II for RT, UT, PT and DP; 3) Corrosion Protection: CSWIP Coating & Painting Inspector; Auditing :
IRCA Certified
- Experience: At least 10 years proven experience in QA/QC aspects with large oil and gas projects
with minimum 2 years within the O&G manufacturing environment.
- Familiar with O&G codes & standards (e.g., BS, ASME, ANSI, API).
- Has good communication, supervisory and team working skills with ability to establish
successfully bridges across cultures
- Fluent in English (speaking and writing). Basic knowledge of Russian would be appreciated
