Function:
• Implementation of the Wells Department's: Policy, Organization, Technical Standards, Management Controls, Control Procedures, and Working Practices for the execution of Well Completions and Well Services activities;
• Implement controls and processes to safeguard the technical integrity;
• The safe execution of agreed Completions and Well Interventions programmed activities on time and within budget to deliver maximum value;
• Participate in and share best practices by attending and participating in lateral learning sessions and utilizing LL tools;
• Communication with onshore Completions and Well Interventions services support during execution activities, ensuring prompt response to operational problems
• Provide exemplary HS&E Leadership with regard to onsite preparation and execution of all Completion and Well Services activities under area of responsibility;
• Ensure all well work programs are executed safely with appropriate environmental control, and that all major risks have been identified and mitigated;
• Ensure that HSE has the highest priority during the preparation and execution of Completions and Well Services work programs and that safety management tools are fully utilized to minimize risk, (eg, Risk Assessments, manual handling assessments, TRIC, tool box talks, STOP, AAR’s etc);
• Compile and report HSE statistics for sphere of responsibility;
• Ensure all incidents, accidents and near misses are correctly reported and are subject to the required level of investigation where necessary;
• Implement controls and processes as defined in the GWDP thereby safeguarding the technical integrity;
• Implement GWDP tools and techniques across all Well Intervention activities;
• Plan and generate Completion / Well Intervention work programs for operations;
• Ensure Completion / Well Intervention work programs are fully fit for purpose and fully understood by all personnel attending (either in the office or on site) by the application of CWOP’s, pre-phase meetings, workshops etc;
• Interact with well planning, completion design and well construction;
• Supervision of (and/or participation in) onshore/offsite trials and equipment stack up tests as required;
• Liaise and communicate with platform discipline supervisors to facilitate efficient preparation and execution of well programs;
• Efficiently manage and allocate adequate Well Services resources to maximize production, minimize expenditure, and to facilitate timely cost effective execution of all Completion / Well Services activities;
• Generate and execute logistics plans in order to implement execution programs as per the agreed planning schedule;
• Ensure that pre-shipment QA/QC checks are conducted to ensure equipment being sent to site is fit for purpose;
• Ensure cross asset and operating unit PEER assist, challenge and learning and effective lateral learning (internal and external);
• Ensure accurate storage of information and data relating to Well files and well data, in line with SEIC procedures;
• Provide routine and emergency technical input and support for all well related activities, both onshore and offshore as required;
• Co-ordinate and manage logistics to ensure operations are conducted safely, on time and in accordance with execution programs;
• Supervision of the safe and efficient execution of well programs and ensures that all company policies and procedures are fully adhered to;
• Ensure adherence to change control procedures in the event of program amendments;
• Ensure accurate daily reporting of all Completion / Well Services activities into approved SEIC reporting medium;
• Ensure accurate cost monitoring of all Completion / Well Intervention activities both onshore and offshore;
• Integrate and liaise with other disciplines to ensure efficient and effective execution of Completion / Well Intervention work programs;
• Ensure all lessons learned are captured and shared from execution of Completion / Well Intervention activities;
• Ensure safe and efficient back load of equipment and personnel on Completion / Well Intervention activities;
• Maintain Well Integrity by the execution of Planned Routine Safety Critical Maintenance of wellheads, trees and the execution of non-routine Well Interventions.
