International oil and gas company is looking for

Electrical and Instrumentation Designer

Objectives:

• To prepare and modify instrumentation design drawings from Engineering Data, Design Data and Vendor Data
• To prepare and modify electrical design drawings from Engineering Data, Design Data and Vendor Data
• To provide drawings in compliance with design requirements
• To provide CAD designer skills for the instrument and electrical group
• Proficient in the understanding of and usage of Company and Client standards, procedures and practices
• Proficient in the understanding, selection and application of instrument and electrical equipment in Hazardous Areas
• To prepare Material Take-offs and Bills of Materials
• To carry out document searches via LiveLink and Documentum
• To assist in the preparation of Workpacks for construction purposes
• To review Vendor drawings for correctness and compliance with design requirements
• To assist in the compilation of Bill of Material’s, specifications in addition to creating & modifying drawings
• To support the E/I offshore survey effort with occasional offshore survey trips if required

Requirements:

• Engineering diploma in electrical or instrumentation & controls
• English Upper-Intermediate+
• 3-5 years experience of an engineering design environment
• Experience with CAD packages
• Minimum 2 yeas experience in oil & gas industry would be an advantage
