We are the partner of major players in the oil and gas industry and energy sector. Anotech ENERGY is a subsidiary that belongs to Alten S.A which is a French Engineering consulting group that counts over 15 000 employees in 18 countries.
This position is based in Russia. Contract Manager will be involved in a major Oil & Gas EPC’s project.
Activities:
• Familiarize himself and manage the mechanism and requirements of the implementation and conversion of the provisional sums.
• Receive, estimate and issue change requests within the statutory period upon notification by the Customer
• Identify non-contractual requirements, changes of laws, customer demands not subject of a change notice and the like. Issue the appropriate timely notification and cost estimates to the Customer of such changes
• Initiate and assist the Project Manager to establish a commercial strategy to ensure the profitability of the project.
• Monitor incoming mail from the Customer and ensure an appropriate response as required. This entails working with and expediting the draft response of other members of the project.
• Verify and approve all outgoing mail to the Customer, including the mail produced by other members of the Project.
• Participate in the Cost Control, and in particular estimate the Total Contract Value in terms of Basic value, approved changes, forecasted provisional sum conversions, price revision, changes in quantities and commercial opportunities.
• Management of taxation issues in relation to the Contract (Temporary imports, Tax exemption)
• To represent the Project Director on Contractual discussions with the Engineer / Employer.
• To vet, correct and modify any correspondence to the Engineer / Employer prepared by any Project Team member.
Context and environment:
• Rotation 6x3 (summer); 4x2 (winter)
Qualifications and Experience required:
Graduate engineer with minimum 10 years’ experience in the sphere of contract/sub contract management.
Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
Fluent Russian is mandatory.
Good communication skills, able to work in a multicultural environment.
