Big company is looking for Civil Work Supervisor
Responsibilities
Follow Up and Verify all documentations proposed by the Contractor.
Ensure the storing and confidentiality of the documentation.
Participate to the reception of equipment
Ensure that all activities supervised are performed with the proper degree of safety and environment protection.
Ensure that all activities supervised are performed in respect of Contract, purchase order, change order terms and conditions.
Follow Up and Verify compliance with technical specifications, drawings and procedures.
Manage construction (all) interfaces with others: contractors, operations etc ...
Provide necessary input and participate in clarifications, negotiations etc ...
Anticipate potential problems. Analyse and propose corrective actions.
Make necessary arbitration between different disciplines, the only criteria being the benefit of the overall project.
Supervise the preparation of the pre-commissioning and assist commissioning activities (organisation, procedures).
Promote the reporting of incidents and anomalies
Issue in due time Daily report and assist his management for the issuance of the weekly, monthly, final report)
Participate in meeting related to the area of responsibility, and when is required to be present .
Contribute to audits of Contractors or Sub-Contractors in co-operation with the QA/QC department.
Liaise and support Vendor / Contractor representative for site survey and work visits.
Maintain good relationships with Contractors, being flexible enough but also strict when necessary to achieve the objectives of the Project.
COMPLIANCE WITH SAFETY NORMS Comply with requirements of the Safety, Health and Environmental laws of Russia and to obey the corporate policy of COMPANY on Safety, Health and Environment, and to practise COMPANY Safety Systems.
Qualifications
Education/ Work experience in pipeline and river crossing: high professional education (technical) with work experience not less than 5 years as pipeline supervisor.
Good technical background should include design and equipment utilization in pipeline facilities.
Competencies: communication, negotiation etc…
Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
Good communication skills, able to work in a multicultural environment.
