Anotech ENERGY is a subsidiary that belongs to Alten S.A which is a French Engineering consulting group that counts over 15 000 employees in 18 countries.
This position is based in Russia. The Field Engineer/Coordinator will be involved in a major Oil & Gas operator’s project.
Activities:
• Support both administrative and construction activities as assigned by the supervisor including but not limited to project controls, subcontracts, material management and scheduling.
• Provide technical support for field operations in a single discipline of engineering/coordination
• Read and understand plans and specifications.
• Examine/inspect field conditions and identify problems, inaccuracies and research drawings for preparation of a Requests For Information (RFI)
• Read and understand project’s contract documents, drawings, specifications and scope of work
• Assist with the development and maintenance of the project master schedule
• Prepare submittals (materials, vendors)
• Write requisitions and purchase orders following up with suppliers to expedite deliveries
• Monitor receiving, warehousing functions and material control
• Manage subcontracts for compliance, schedule and performance
• Perform field estimating for change order and other scope-of-work adjustments
• Manage any extra work, addition of costs, progress and quantities for specific discipline
• Ensure weekly quantities are reported and enter specific quantities into productivity system, SLS, commodity curves and project schedule
• Assemble final material take-offs into quantities for material budgets and apply project units
• Assist with materials/equipment inspections and receiving procedures
• Assist disciplined superintendent with the building of construction work packages
• Receive and inspect incoming materials, plant equipment and documentation
• With specific discipline supervisor order materials, arranging specialty subcontractors, material take-offs and estimating
• Spend quality time in the field on a daily basis

Qualifications and Experience required:
Graduate engineer with minimum 6 years experience in the oil and gas industries.
Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
Fluent Russian is mandatory.
Good communication skills, able to work in a multicultural environment.
