Position
Economics analyst
Function
Correspondent and local support of the Head Office economists in charge of Russia with the following tasks:
• Gather and check the economic datas to be used in the economic models of TEPR assets for the Long Term Plan exercise, as well as the various future cash flows evaluations required by Accounting (SEC reserves, ASC932, assets’ market value, Impairment tests,…); verify their accuracy and coherence, and ensure that their presentation is consistent to meet the need of the economic models. The following elements and their evolution should be checked carefully:
1. The tax system and its evolution in accordance with the political and legal Russian context;
2. The netback selling price calculation (gas) and the oil and gas transportation costs;
3. The costs estimated by the operators/partners and their evolution.
• Gather and check the financial datas from the subsidiary to initialize the LTP models.
• Gather and check the economic datas to be used for TEPR punctual studies about investments or new business, with a focus on the local context knowledge (tax, agreements, prices, production and costs profiles…etc).
• Keep informed through an immediate and efficient feedback the head office economists about all the local economic and financial subjects.
• Check that the studies performed by the head office economists are consistent with the local economic and legal context.
• Perform other local studies such as studies on competitors or Partners information.
Requirements
• University degree in Finance or Economics.
• Professional experience > 5 years, preferably in Oil & Gas sector.
• Good working level of English.
