Geological and quantitative geophysical interpretation of seismic data
Responsibilities
• To propose, for the assigned area/project, the exploration programme and relevant budget as necessary;
• To supervise and coordinate the interpretation phase of the project, in accordance with established time-schedules and budget;
• To evaluate, a recommended forward work programme.
• To coordinate and set up the operational phase of the assigned exploratory projects/areas, in particular interpretation and well location definitions optimizing costs and technical quality and complying with the established time-schedules .
• To perform appropriate projects' technical and economical evaluations and prepare reports for the management with relevant recommendations
• To follow-up the drilling phase and to evaluate the results of drilling, ensuring compliance with established time-schedules, costs and technical quality.
Requirements
• University Degree in Geology
• Fluent English
• More than 10 Years of experience in Oil Companies or Service Companies
• Working with Seiswork (Landmark) or Geoframe seismic interpretation or Linux based equivalent software
• 3D Seismic Interpretation , Seismic Tie in & Depth Conversion & mapping
• Avo Analysis Crossplotting & Interpretation
• Post stack seismic Attribute Interpretation
• Inversion Volume Interpretation
• Well location Selection
• Seismic Quality Assessment
• Petrophysical & well test data integration in seismic interpretation
• VSP data Analysis & Interpretation
• Synthetic Seismogram Analysis & Interpretation
• Knowledge of Advanced geophysics, Reservoir Geophysics ( AVO & Inversion), Sequence Stratigraphy
