Responsibilities:
* Under broad direction, work in conjunction with the strategic sourcing specialist Russia/Caspian and the regional sourcing team in Asia Pac region to recommend strategies and tactics to maintain the company's competitive position in strategic sourcing & procurement.
* Develop and implement a fact based sourcing spending analysis, taking into account of procurement costs, total cost of ownership, and business revenue leverage consideration.
* Provide information to PSL/functions through systematic establishment of sourcing & category spending data.
* Analyze company and industry trends to recommend strategies and tactics to maintain the company's competitive position in strategic procurement.
* Collect and analyze sourcing & category data and presenting it in a format which can be used to make effective business decisions.
* Stay involved with all strategic procurement initiatives to provide guidance and support, and to ensure positive results.
* Communicate business and strategic procurement opportunities and recommend action plans.
* Job role contributes to quality of service via personal contributions and directly impacts value creation for the company.
* Build and maintain the procurement vendor cost reduction scorecard for the sub-region. Requirements:
* University degree in Business, Engineering or similar disciplines.
* Completion of a second advanced education degree in Business Administration or similar is preferred.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in Supply Chain environment which includes experience in procurement and sourcing.
* Russian native language.
* Fluent oral/written English. Role Specific Knowledge
* Analytical skills, including profound knowledge of MS Office, Excel Access is a plus and reporting systems (such as SAP BW),
* Basic understanding of SAP procurement
* Understanding of business controls policies for sourcing & procurement
* Financial fundamentals and concepts
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Presentation skills
* Understand procurement principles
