The leading international Contractor onshore and offshore operations provides high-quality project management, design, maintenance and construction services in oil and gas sector, for its project on Sakhalin Island is looking for a specialist to the position Senior Civil/Structural Designer Requirements:
Proficient in civil/structural designer (not engineering duties) as per basic functions
Minimum of 8-10 years experience of an Industrial / Mining engineering design environment and preferably some experience of PDMS or equivalent CAD package.
Fully conversant with latest version of AutoCAD
Knowledge of Word and Excel software
Ability to communicate / interface with project team and engineering personnel
Ability to operate as part of a small team
Ability to demonstrate good safety awareness
Ability to work in teams in a multicultural environment
Upper-intermediate spoken and written English
Additional experience of a civil & structural construction environment would be an advantage as is any formal qualification in the oil & gas industry
Basic Functions:
Responsibility for all relevant design aspects of the civil and structural workscopes
To provide proficient PDMS CAD designer skills for the civil and structural group
To undertake PDMS training and become proficient in PDMS use
To assist in the compilation of BOM’s, specifications in addition to drawings
To carry out document searches via LiveLink and Documentum
To support the civil/structural offshore survey effort with occasional offshore survey trips

Residence in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk
Salary up to 100 000 RUR gross
