MAIN FUNCTIONS:
- Supervise the drilling engineering function and ensure quality well designs and programmes in compliance with the Company policy,
- Work close with the engineering team, organize and supervise the work of junior engineers,
- Work with Drilling operations department to implement the drilling & completion programs whilst fostering teamwork between Company disciplines and departments and between Company and Service Providers,
- Evaluate pore pressure/fracture gradient generation,
- Preparation of drilling hazard review and risk assessments,
- Assist in logistics support where/when required,
- Well budget preparation and cost monitoring
Requirements:
- Engineering and Drilling & Completion Operations skills in West Siberia is required,
- Good knowledge of well control best practices,
- Drilling engineering and well planning competence,
- Competency to plan, problem solve, organize, direct, and control,
- Drilling Operations supervisory skills
- 7 years of experience
- English speaking
