A large oil and gas company is looking for professionals in SCM and invites candidates for position of Senior Contracts Engineer.
Work location: Sakhalin island
Reporting to Supply Chain Manager
Requirements:
-Higher professional education in Engineering, Finance & Accounting, Economics, Law or Business Administration. Additional trainings or professional qualification in contracting and procurement
-Previous work experience in the contracts and procurement area and supply chain project management 6+ years, preferable in oil & gas industry (wells, drilling & workover, construction, maintenance, production, refining, project management etc.) , technical background is a plus
-Understanding of financial, commercial and technical controls in the tendering process and contract management, with a thorough understanding of commercial law
-Knowledge of oil and gas business and production business drivers; knowledge and experience of global/regional ways of working
-International companies experience is preferable
-Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills; strong commercial skills and value/cost focus
-Conversational and written English
-Ready to relocate
Responsibilities:
-Develop, award and provide support to major and minor contracts; develop and award Purchase Orders (material supply) ; authority to approve Contract / Purchase Order commitments
-Analysis of Contracts and Procurement demands and planning; conduct Strategy Reviews
-Filing and maintaining of all contractual documentation; maintain portfolio of contracts / data updating
-Coordination of pre-qualification and bidders list composition, issue of Invitation to Tender, clarifications, commercial evaluation, preparation of Tender Board presentations
-Responsible for coaching, mentoring and supporting junior CP staff in the CP process implementation and resolving contractual issues
