A large oil and gas company is looking for professional in oil and gas industry facilities construction for the role of Offshore Construction Manager.
Work location: Sakhalin island, permanent, relocation to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Reporting line: Offshore Project Manager
Requirements: -Higher professional technical education, 10-15 years of experience in related area, preferable in oil and gas industry -Expertise in international and Russian Construction Standards -Skilled in application of Offshore and Onshore Oil & Gas facilities and applicable standards (Russian and International) -Expert in construction techniques, management of operation process -Expertise in development of JSA’s, risk assessment and offshore HSE management
Responsibilities: -To work as part of the Offshore Projects Team to create integrated surface facilities and field concepts with the help of contractors -Maintain highest standards in HSE for offshore construction activities and personnel and perform periodic HSE audits of offshore construction activities and vessels -Ensure project mechanical completions are achieved as agreed with Project Managers milestones -Assurance of RF and mandatory certification of offshore personnel -Manage construction and allocation of resources as required across offshore platforms -Delivery of RN competency assessments and transition planning for construction personnel -Ensure constructability review of work carried out by external engineering consultants -Provide follow-on construction support for offshore construction -Provide single focal point for Offshore Construction activities and direct supervision of Offshore Construction Superintendents
