Our client looking for Head of Standard Pumps International Sales Department

Today, the Company is interested in long term sales strategy in the Middle East region, standard pumps, comprising water borehole submersible pumps and double suction pumps, being priority export products. In light of this the company is seeking to hire a Head of International Standard Pumps Sales Department who will spearhead sales of HMS standard pumps to the Gulf region, North Africa.

The successful incumbent will be responsible for establishment of the dealer/agents network in the Middle East, implementation of sales plans, coordination of technical and commercial support, communication with potential clients.

The incumbent will be stationed at the company head office in Moscow and occasionally spend time in the targeted sales areas as necessary.

It is very preferable for the candidate to have proven sales record of similar equipments of other makes in the target sales area. The search for professionals is expected with at least 5-10 years of experience among dynamic people with a high energy level.

The position reports to the Deputy General Manager for International Sales of JSC HYDROMASHSERVICE.

The Company is offering for this position a competitive all inclusive compensation package with a fixed bonus for the first year.

The competences and requirements to the successful candidate are highlighted below:


· Marketing, promotion and sales of the standard pumps

· Identifying, developing and cultivating relationships with main customers

· Identifying business development opportunities

· Establishing dealer network


· Heading the standard pumps international sales from a company office in Moscow

· Assessment and participation in the product development

· Searching for new end customers/dealers, establishing communication, maintaining continuous systematic contacts including pre-qualification and registration in the approved vendor lists

· Commercial negotiations

· Understanding of customer business model in detail, as well as dynamics and requirements of the market segment in order to help identify how HMS can best meet or exceed the customer/markets requirements

· Act as the company interface with the customer

· Key player in order capture process

· Responsible for identifying new and managing existing commercial advisors

· Identify market entry demands and/or changing market requirements


· Proven sales success of similar pumps equipments to water industries

· Experience in dealing with customers/dealers

· Ability to interface at all levels of both the customer and HMS organization

· Strong analytical and strategic thinker

· University degree in relevant subject or equivalent experience

· Excellent communicator both verbally and written at all levels
