Responsibilities:
To manage, coordinate and monitor the Russian "Wet Section" Landfall Contractor and subcontractor activities on-site, ensuring on time completion in accordance with the project specifications. • Direct point of contact on-site for trench excavation, dredging, and landfall pipeline pull-in activities
• Managing and coordinating all CONTRACTOR'S On-Site activities
• Ensuring that the objectives, direction, controls and coordination of all Contractor's elements are fulfilled and achieved
• Daily, Weekly, Monthly Reporting
• Attendance at meetings as required in Europe head office
• Coordinate common issues with Dry Section Contractor, such as road access, security, Safety,
• Review of Construction procedures
• Managing scope of work and schedule changes utilising Site Instruction System Reporting to the Landfalls manager you will be responsible for day to day managing and monitoring of the Main Offshore Contractor and its subsiduary Landfall Subcontractor.
As Site Representative you will be required to ensure the contractors are undertaking the work in a safe and controlled manner and in accordance with the approved procedures.
Significant enviromental constraints are imposed on this section of the work and the NS Site Representative shall work closely with the Landfalls Manager to ensure that the necessary obligations of the Contractors subcontractors are fullfilled."
"Adjacent to the Landfall will be a seperate Construction Site for a short onshore pipeline (The Dry Section) and valve station.
The two Sites will share a common access road, through very challenging, remote terrain.
The Contractor for the Dry Section will be Russian, and will employ 99% Russian-only speakers."
The Landfall Site Manager will be required to liaise and co-ordinate with the Project Dry Section Team, and their Contractor on a daily basis over all relevant issues, including shared road access, security, permits interpretation, communications with local authorities, safety, etc. For this work, good Russian language skills are required, including fluent spoken Russian, and also some technical Russian reading ability. (The official project language will be English.)
The Site Representative will be based in city of North West region, Russia, with occasional visits for meetings and reporting in Europe head office. He/she will live in hotel accommodation in city, and local transportation will be supplied.
There will be an initial period of preparation of a few weeks in Europe head office, followed by immediate mobilisation to Site, because Road Construction is already ongoing.
Responsible for supervising up to 3 project personnel, primarily onshore
"Candidate must have several years Civil/Petrochemical Construction Site Supervision experience, and be a fluent English and Russian speaker.
